L&#8217;une de ses principales caract\u00e9ristiques est qu&#8217;il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un liquide incolore et qu&#8217;il est aprotique, c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire qu&#8217;il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;un type de solvant qui ne donne ni n&#8217;accepte de protons. <strong>Le DMSO<\/strong> est un liquide organique \u00e0 p\u00e9n\u00e9tration rapide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quelles sont les caract\u00e9ristiques du DMSO ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le DMSO a plusieurs facteurs qui l&#8217;aident \u00e0 se distinguer des autres compos\u00e9s chimiques qui peuvent lui \u00eatre similaires ou avoir une fonction ou m\u00eame une utilisation similaire. Ainsi, le DMSO se distingue par les points suivants :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Sa formule chimique est <strong>(CH\u2083) 2SO<\/strong> . Sa mol\u00e9cule a une forme pyramidale avec des atomes de soufre, d&#8217;oxyg\u00e8ne, de carbone et d&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9693 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cdslab.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/C2H6OS-300x245.png\" alt=\"Formule DMSO\" width=\"120\" height=\"98\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cdslab.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/C2H6OS-300x245.png 300w, https:\/\/www.cdslab.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/C2H6OS-150x122.png 150w, https:\/\/www.cdslab.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/C2H6OS.png 408w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 120px) 100vw, 120px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Le DMSO<\/strong> se caract\u00e9rise par \u00eatre un liquide organique soluble dans l&#8217;eau et miscible avec l&#8217;\u00e9thanol, l&#8217;ac\u00e9tone, le benz\u00e8ne et de nombreux solvants organiques \u00e0 l&#8217;exception de certains hydrocarbures.<\/li>\n<li>C&#8217;est un liquide clair, incolore et inodore.<\/li>\n<li>Point de solidification : inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 18\u00b0C. Point de fusion : 18\u00b0C. Point d&#8217;\u00e9clair : 95\u00b0C. Point d&#8217;\u00e9bullition : 189\u00b0C. Temp\u00e9rature d&#8217;auto-inflammation : 270\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Le DMSO<\/strong> peut \u00eatre absorb\u00e9 par <strong>p\u00e9n\u00e9tration<\/strong> cutan\u00e9e, <strong>ingestion<\/strong> ou m\u00eame <strong>inhalation<\/strong> de l&#8217;a\u00e9rosol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Quelles sont les principales utilisations du DMSO ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En raison de ses caract\u00e9ristiques, le <strong>DMSO<\/strong> est utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 diverses fins. Parmi tant d&#8217;autres on le retrouve :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comme <strong>solvant<\/strong> : Le DMSO est souvent utilis\u00e9 comme <strong>solvant<\/strong> pour <strong>les r\u00e9actions chimiques<\/strong> impliquant des sels. Il est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 comme <strong>extractant en biochimie<\/strong> Y <strong>biologie cellulaire<\/strong> . De plus, le DMSO est de plus en plus utilis\u00e9 dans les processus de fabrication pour produire <strong>des dispositifs micro\u00e9lectroniques<\/strong> . Un autre de ses domaines d&#8217;utilisation est la <strong>bio<\/strong> -pr\u00e9servation, notamment dans les banques de cellules souches. Enfin, le DMSO est un <strong>d\u00e9capant de peinture efficace<\/strong> , \u00e9tant plus s\u00fbr que beaucoup d&#8217;autres, comme le nitrom\u00e9thane (CH\u2083NO\u2082) et le dichlorom\u00e9thane (CH <sub>2<\/sub> Cl <sub>2<\/sub> ).<\/li>\n<li>Dans le <strong>domaine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire :<\/strong> <strong>Le DMSO<\/strong> est couramment utilis\u00e9 en m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire comme <strong>liniment du cheval<\/strong> pour le traitement de l&#8217;augmentation de la pression intracr\u00e2nienne et\/ou de l&#8217;\u0153d\u00e8me c\u00e9r\u00e9bral. Il peut \u00eatre <strong>utilis\u00e9 seul ou avec d&#8217;autres ingr\u00e9dients en<\/strong> personnalisant la fonction pr\u00e9vue du DMSO qui est celle d&#8217;un solvant, pour transporter les autres ingr\u00e9dients \u00e0 travers la peau.<\/li>\n<li>Dans le domaine de la <strong>biologie :<\/strong> le <strong>DMSO<\/strong> est utilis\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9action en <strong>cha\u00eene par polym\u00e9rase (PCR)<\/strong> pour inhiber les structures secondaires dans la matrice d&#8217;ADN ou les amorces d&#8217;ADN. Il est ajout\u00e9 au m\u00e9lange PCR avant de r\u00e9agir. Le DMSO peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme <strong>cryoprotecteur<\/strong> , ajout\u00e9 au support cellulaire pour r\u00e9duire la formation de glace et ainsi emp\u00eacher la mort cellulaire pendant le processus de cong\u00e9lation.
