Chlorine Dioxide (_ClO2) allows total and deep cleaning of non-potable water, eliminating any type of virus, bacteria, fungi and others that may be harmful to the organism. Chlorine Dioxide differs from Elemental Chlorine both in its chemical structure and in its function, making it soluble in water and thus able to eliminate the previously mentioned toxic agents .

One of the most frequent uses of Chlorine Dioxide is to treat water intended for industrial food processes, cooling towers, hot and cold water systems, water purifiers, etc. In other words, Chlorine Dioxide is used as a powerful biocide that can even be used as a natural bleach.

Finally, Chlorine Dioxide is twice as effective as Elemental Chlorine in eliminating pathogens present in water such as Giardia, a bacterium that causes a pathology called Giardiasis or Lambliasis, or Cryptosporidium eggs, a bacterium associated with Cryptosporidiosis.

This product consists of 250 ML of aqueous solution of Chlorine Dioxide, with a minimum factory output content of 0.2-0.3%. It is totally free of excipients, preservatives and stabilizing chemicals that may alter its composition. Unlike other solutions, Chlorine Dioxide does not need an activator to perform its function.

For its ideal conservation, the material of the container of this product is a dark glass, designed to protect the Chlorine Dioxide from ultraviolet light. If it is subjected to it, it could be altered and lose its quality and efficacy. The cap of the container itself can be used as a measuring device of up to 6 ML in order to be able to precise the dosage to the maximum.

Method of use:

Chlorine Dioxide is often used as an easy to use, safe and versatile disinfectant since it can fight against different types of agents harmful to health on various types of surfaces.

It should be noted that on a large number of occasions, this product is related to the cleaning of water that could be infected by pathogens. For example, Chlorine Dioxide is indicated to sanitize fruits that may develop mold (as is the case of berries such as strawberries or raspberries), and thus prevent them from becoming harmful for human consumption.

Conservation:

It should be kept refrigerated or at a temperature below11°C so that the product is not affected. Since the main function of the container is to protect it from ultraviolet light, it should be stored in dark places. It is very important to leave the product properly closed to avoid evaporation. If it is not possible to guarantee that the ambient temperature is below the indicated temperature, the container should not be opened.

Once opened, the recommended time for use is one month. If kept closed, it can withstand up to three to six months after manufacture.

Precautions:

It is very important to handle this product with gloves, since when in contact with the skin it may cause allergy or stains on the skin. It is also of vital importance not to ingest or inhale the product. In case of volatilization due to poor preservation, the area should be ventilated as much as possible, since it may be toxic.

Avoid contact of Color Dioxide with eyes, wounds and mucous membranes. In this case, the area should be washed with plenty of water and then consult a specialist. Keep out of reach of children.
